Ugh! I have been SO ill. I have had a headache, that has gotten worse, NOT better, for the past eight days. Since My birthday in fact!
I’m not sure if my headache is the result of allergies, becuase 90% of the time It feels like a sinus headache, but last night I took an allergy pill and it did NOTHING to relieve my symptoms. This morning I took three extra strength Tylenol and three Liquid Migraine Advil and while I can still feel the pounding, at least I can string two words together – AND have them make sense!
I hope I start feeling better soon! ALL the way better!

on Friday our GST check was auto deposited into our account. It had dropped 30 dollars. July is the month that the government adjusts everything after the tax year. If GST has gone down, my baby Check will have gone down too. This is unfortunate to the extreme.
The government calculates what you will get based on LAST YEARS income, and since I was making about 300.00 a month in baby sitting last year, they automatically assume I will be doing the same this year. FAIL.
I am desperately hoping that I will be able to apeal their decision to cut my BBC, but I doubt I will be successful, on top of that, it is EXTREMLY stressfully knowing it will be cut – BUT WHAT TOO??
My student loan payment, the car insurance payment and out home security system payment come out of the BBC, and I usually have enough to also pay three of the four monthly bills we get, leaving just one to be paid out of Hubs account.
Not knowing what my BBC will be means I do not know how much will have to come out of Hubs check, meaning I have no idea what to budget for.
Luckily, my friend called me this afternoon asking If I will be able to baby sit her two kids for two weeks. She is quitting her job and must give 2 weeks notice, and on Friday she found out the babysitter she had been using was virtually abandoning (and not feeding) her children!
The money I make over those two weeks goes a long LONG way to giving me peace of mind in terms of bills, and hopefully, the BBC will not be dropped as far as I think it will and we will still be fine.
Fingers crossed!

My Inlaws have the boys – they have had them since Wednesday. It’s lonely, but I think I will get used to it just in time for them to come back home. (they are gone for a full week).
I have gotten a lot done without them here to complain – mainly, going through their toys throwing out all the old broken bits they seem to “need” and sorting through their closets.
But tonight, Friday, Hubs and I are planning on taking in a movie. The problem is, WHICH ONE??!!
Here is a list of movies that are playing at the two theaters we generally go to. (There are a few more theaters, but we never go there so I do not bother looking at the listings)
Bold – a movie I have already seen
Bold + Red – a movie I REALLY want to see
Bold + Purple – somewhat interested in seeing it.
Green – A movie we would rather wait and see with the boys
Bold +Blue - Never hear of it
Get Smart
Hancock
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Kung Fu Panda
The Happening
The Incredible Hulk
The Love Guru
WALL-E
Wanted
You Don’t Mess With the Zohan
88 Minutes
Baby Mama
Deception
Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Iron Man
Made of Honor
Nim’s Island
Speed Racer
Street Kings
Most likely, we will see one of the red movies, but if you have a better solution?…

I challenge you to name ONE thing that is better than sitting outside on a war summer day with a nice breeze ruffling your hair. A hot cup of coffee is sitting beside you and you have a fudgesicle in your hand.
Go a head, I dare you to find just ONE thing better than this.
Can’t do it, can you?!

Happy Birthday Canada
Funny story about this date. When I was a little girl, my parents would always load us up for a few weeks in the summer and take us north to see our grandparents. Usually, this occurred in the first week of July. We would all go down to the lake and watch the fireworks – and when I was little? Fireworks scared me! A Lot!
My dad would tell me not to be scared, that all of this was for me, to celebrate MY birthday. That all of these people were here, the fireworks, the balloons and picnics were all for me. And I believed him.
See, Canada Day is the day before my birthday, and even though I am now old enough to know that they are two different celebrations, I still like to look up at the night sky, at the fireworks bursting to life, and imagine all of those people out there, celebrating ME!
