I find it interesting that now that I am drinking more water I am losing weight. I have a cold sensitive tooth, my upper left front tooth, and it had gotten to the point that I couldn’t drink anything slightly cold at all. I started drinking water with a straw and am drinking more water than coffee now.

The size of water glass I use holds three cups of water, and i drink, maybe 15 of them a day, more when it is hot. Maybe I found the secret to my very own quick weight loss? I don’t know but I do know that drinking more water is good for you, except the part where I pee twice as much as normal LOL.

And it isn’t a huge weight loss, maybe 5 pounds over the past month, but for the first time in quite a while the scale is moving in the direction that I want it to move in!

My husband has been off work in a forced unpaid two week shut down – not just him, but the entire company, and he goes back to work tomorrow (Sad) my plan is to try the 30 day shred dvd again, get some physical activity into my life and see if i can help my water move those numbers down!

Some days I wish that we had bought the house on the corner. it was smaller, the layout was weird, and the backyard was practically non existent, but it had french doors leading to a deck.

Oh what I would not give to have a house with a deck. To be able to go and sit outside on a picnic set and have my coffee and smoke int he morning, to have to worry about whether I can leave the outdoor cushions out over the winter and to have room for more than one person up on our current “deck” (if you can call it that) at the same time as the BBQ.

The house on the corner also had a whirlpool tub in the master bath, which I think about a lot in the evenings as I am settling into my perfectly acceptable yet not whirlpooly at all, bathtub.

I’d love to be able to sit out there and play on my laptop but still be able to see and hear the boys playing around the block. Our current back yard is large, but it is not readily accessible. you have to walk allllll the way around the house to get to it and it has no shade at all, which means that we never spend any time in it. The boys do, but me and Micah don’t.

If I had to choose again, which house I bought, I wouldn’t pick this one, as much as I love it, I would pick the house on the corner.

I got so bored tonight that I decided to wash our dog…our BIG dog. She has the kind of fur where she doesn’t really get dirty, however, I couldn’t recall the last time she had been bathed, so I hopped at the chance to curb my boredom.

She didn’t enjoy the part where I got her wet, nor did she enjoy the rinsing. If she could have, she would have purred while I was scrubbing dog shampoo into her fur, but OMG, the MESS when she was done! I had three full sized bath sheets at the ready to dry her off, and started drying her back and tummy before the water was done draining in the tub, I had her jump out onto a towel and dried her feet and to the touch, she felt rather dry…and then she shook herself!

Water everywhere!

LOL, she ruined a full roll of toilet paper, her tail knocked over a bottle of vitamins for acne, the mirror, the walls the floor…well, really, everything int he room was soaked.

I had my husband bring me another dry towel and rubbed at her again until i was positive she was dry enough to leave the bathroom without making a mess, but the minute she stepped out of the room she shook again and we were back where we started from. Oh well, the hallway needed a good washing.

Same with the living room floor, which she also shook herself all over, annnnd the kitchen…LOL

What. A. Mess!
