I’m so in love with these leg warmers!

And my Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) novels. I’m actually horribly sad that I am on the last of book of the box set I bought, and tomorrow I will be setting aside a considerable amount of time to research becuase I am positive I heard there is another book (hopefully more) after this one!

Anyway. My mother in law thinks I am too old to be wearing things like this, she doesn’t mind my cream, or my gray or my black leg warmers, but the colorful ones irk her something awful!!

Listen up people. I may be taking calcium supplements becuase my doctor is worried about osteoporosis, but i am only 31 years old and if I want to wear happy leggies, I damn well will!!!

SO THERE!

I decided to try the 30 day shred again. Last time I did it, I got to day five and and pretty sure that I died a few times during those very long painful days.

I wasn’t able to get through the whole work out of day one level one of the Shred, but I tried. And I will try to try again tomorrow – but I’m pretty sure my thighs will be balls of flames when I wake up!

It might just be time to weigh the pros and cons of diet pills and theside effects of diet pills, because i’m not sure I am cut out for the burny ouchy pain of exercise!

GLEE, season Two premieres tomorrow night at 7, 8 and 9 (LOL) I think we are going to watch the nine PM becuase the boys will be in bed and we will have no interruptions, that way!

it will be kind of hard, becuase I will have to avoid facebook a bit for the hours leading up to it, everyone else watching will prolly watch the early showing. Then again, I’m getting used to ignoring mentions of GLEE on facebook, some people are down right rude about it!

“I’d rather get a colon cleanse then watch GLEE” What the hell is with attitudes like that? NO one is forcing them to watch GLEE!

I heard there will be a rocky horror episode of GLEE for Halloween and I could not be more excited, there will also be a Britney Spears (BOO!) episode, which I think will be boring. The good with the bad, I guess LOL.

All I know is that tomorrow is GLEE and that makes me happy!

Found a picture of Parker’s first salamander, Scratch, when we first found him in August. When the kids come home, I will go get a picture of Flip and Scratch together!

The rate that scratch is growing reminds me of the stories I heard about my nephews as babies. Their mama never had any breast milk problems, and her babies put on weight, FAST. None of her kids are fat or even chunky now, but as babies they were ridiculous fat – my one nephew was called Shamoo (Like the whale) and another of hers didn’t walk til 18 months or so because of his weight!

The pet store guy, where we bought the crickets to feed the salamander, warned us that salamanders will eat whenever they see food so it is easy to make them fat, but we didn’t even notice his weight gain until we put Flip in there yesterday!

What i want to know is : How do you make an amphibian exercise????

Late last night, minutes before Our eldest son’s bedtime, the phone rang. it was the boys PaPa with news that another salamander had been spotted and did my son want to come get it.

Duh. Of course he did!

My boy went out into the rain with just pajama pants, boots and a coat on to get the amphibian and bring it home – and it is kind of cute how my father in law remembered that Parker had told him in passing that he was looking for a second salamander to keep his first one (Scratch) company.

I got to name the little salamander, And i named him flip because he was super freaking active in the tiny container Parker brought him him home in, it was adorable!

Other than the fact that Flip is making it super obvious that Scratch needs some apidexin, the two of them are getting along great! This morning, scratch and Flip were cuddled up together under the log “hide”

I told Parker no more salamanders, though. Two is enough!

Between now and next Saturday every person in my family is under strict orders to not mark their faces in ANY way, whatsoever!

No cuts, no bites, no pimples, no black eyes broken noses or ANYTHING.

For the first time in five years we are going to get family pictures done and I do not want to be wishing for acne solution the night before!

My husband and the cat got into a huge fight yesterday. He wanted her to poop in the litter and she wanted to poop in the hallway, when Micah picked her up she flipped out and started scratching and clawing him – and all I could yell was NOT THE FACE !!

Which is kind of sad as Micah ended up with three stitches on his hand from the experience.

I dunno what we are gonna do about the cat, she is just getting more and more mean. The boys are under strict orders to not go near her, Blake tired to pet her last night and she hissed/growled and scratched at his arm for his troubles!

All I want to do tonight is lay here on the couch and vegetate :D

My feet are SO sore!

The kids and Micah are watching a James Bond movie, I dunno the name of it, it has atv racing or something going on right now. I’m seriously considering a HOT bath, but that would involve getting up off the couch and walking.

Im not quite up to that yet.

Plus, I know that no matter how good my book is, if I go and sit in hot, bubbly water right now i am absolutely going to fall asleep!

……

Don’t forget that the second season of GLEE starts on Tuesday!

This weekend at our theaters they are gonna be playing old movies. Like the wizard of Oz. And seriously, that would be cool, buuuut, better would be to get Wicked tickets, which is the story of the witches of Oz!

How cool would that be?

My inlaws are gonna be home alllll winter this year becuase of insurance problems caused by her new pacemaker, so I need to make lots and lots of plans for various date nights, I checked our play house but Wicked isn’t going to be playing here, It is in Ontario, LOL, but that’s too far for me!

My husband and I went to a play for our very first date, Sisters, so live theater is very sentimental for me!

Well two days of non stop heavy rain has really put a *LOL* damper on my mood! I’m ready to pack up and go on vacation, NOW!

I’d love to head to Branson, Missouri!

First of all, they have the Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum there, and that is something that both me and Micah have always wanted to see, we buy the books when we find them and all five of us are just enthralled with them!

I would rather go, just me and Micah, but probably, I would HAVE to bring the kids with me. There is a lot for kids to see, the World’s Largest Antique Toy Museum for one, bu there are also things like go carts and cave exploring.

As long as there are no spiders in the cave, I’d love to go explore one, how cool would that be?!

Branson vacation packages are the way to go though, that way you get hotel plus various entertainment packages, depending on the level of package you choose!

Plus, the fact that Branson is just under 4 hours from my friends, Sheila and Tom’s house… and it think my friend Josh too, but I might have my states mixed up, well, that makes Branson a perfect getaway.

I could spend a week relaxing in Branson and then on the way home, annoy the crap out of my blogger friends!!

I want another camera. I know I have three digital cameras already, but I want a DSLR.

I need to win the lottery becuase it just isn’t going to happen. Even if I went out and got a job, there are more important things I would choose to buy than a new camera :(

But it doesn’t stop me from pawing through the store flyers and checking prices online daily as I drool over lenses!

I think the best thing would be to just win the lottery!

While we wait, patiently, for me to win the lottery, here, have a cookie!

1 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
1/2 cup  Margarine
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup  Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 tsp.  Vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp.  Baking soda
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup  strawberry jam

CREAM peanut butter, margarine and sugars in large mixing bowl. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth.

SIFT dry ingredients together. Stir into peanut butter mixture just until blended.

REFRIGERATE covered at least one hour.

SHAPE dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

USE handle of a wooden spoon or thumb to make deep indentations in centre of each ball.

BAKE at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned; cool. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

FILL centres with jam (I put my jam in a squeezzy bottle, microwaved it to make it more spreadable, and squeezed out designs!)
