So far the weather has been real good, it’s around -20 to -25 and sometimes worse, but at least we had such an awesome October and early November. I think the knowledge that we had that extra time of niceness is making the temps now seem “OK”.

I’m enjoying the boys pretty red cheeks when they come in from playing, no need to worry about rosacea treatment, it’s just the wind and cold. I have three rather large and odd looking Snowmen living in my back yard, and we have only had one “big” snow fall, so the shoveling hasn’t been difficult. Much.

So far, Winter has been kind of OK. It’s nearly December, and I love that, Then comes January, with the new year and Micah’s Birthday. February is still bitterly cold but holds with it the promise that march is right behind it and March is the month of magic when it starts to warm up

So far, Winter hasn’t driven me insane….but there is still time!

Look at me all old and junk LOL. Actually, i am only 31 but my dogs are BARKING so bad right now, and without cause, I might add!

I can’t stand the burny feeling my feet get after a full day, thank goodness for wood floors to rest my feet on, I love the coolness

We are planning on getting wood in the bedrooms soon too – right now we have carpet and shoddy carpet at that!

It won’t be for a while, there are three rooms to do and I would like to do all three at the same time to ensure the wood matches -I already know it won’t match the hall and living room and am OK with that! it’s won’t be super expensive, but it will cost a fair amount, so while I wait I can check out themd clear reviews and try to deal with the ick popping up on my face!

LOL. At least today is Wednesday and not Friday, cus I am sitting at home, with a cold wash cloth on my feet, checking out review sites bitching about my aches and pains! I may not be old, but I sure am boring LOL

OMG! OMG! OMG! It’s only 31 more days until christmas!

This is our tree from 2009. We put our tree up on the first Saturday of December and always has been, and always will be a family activity – At least, untill the boys move out

Micah and I have been doing artificial christmas trees since we started living together in ’97. The first year it was becuase we had a fake tree given to us and could not afford a real one, and after that it was simply the mess of a real tree – we wanted to avoid that mess at ALL costs.

Also, my BFF is allergic to pine, so I’m not going to have something that can kill her in my home. Period.

I love my fake tree. it is assembled in minutes and easy to store. We love it!

I can’t wait, just ten more days!

And just like that, Christmas Shopping is done.

I add the * becuase there is a game I still need to grab that just came out last Tuesday. I haven’t been to the city since it came out so thats why it’s not bought!

The boys’ toys are bought and hidden, their new clothes are high up in my closet hid behind the summer blankets and spare pillows, and best of all, their gift from Santa is hiding in my inlaws garage!

It. Is. Awesome!

Guys! We got them a pool table! An eight by four foot pool table!!!

To say that MIcah and I are excited is just a TINY understatement, OMG! The boys will LOVE it!

And the best part? Four cues, the balls, a rack, a triangle, the table – in super condition, all for one hundred bucks.

Yeah. You read that right.

Awesome!!

I had no idea what juvederm is. It’s one of those things, words you come across online and begin to wonder what it is but then don’t actually click and then the chance is gone. Ive linked it here, and figure if you are curious enough, you will go and find out for yourself what it is

Know what else I am? annoyed! My husband is playing games on his phone and were it any time but right now it would be fine, but right now at this moment he and I are sitting up in a quiet house with six other people fast asleep in various rooms, and the noise is sooooo loud to me! I know, logically that the noise seems loud because the house is quite – heck me typing on my laptop is loud too, but holy smack down do I want him to quit!

Its only quarter to 11 and on a normal friday night me and Micah would be not even close to planning on going to bed, but seeing as he wants to be up at 630 in the AM tomorrow, (HA! not me!) we will be heading to bed soon, I think!

On man, its dead boring here. My brother is insisting that we watch hockey tonight, there are much better shows on that we could be watching, like 1000 ways to die, and so on. heck, at this point I would rather sit and read weight loss supplement reviews online then watch Phoenix and Edmonton fight over a stupid little puck!

My back is killer sore as well too, I neglected to bring my heating pad and its just aching like nothing you’d believe!

Good news is that we are gonna be going to bed ASAP as Micah and my brother are getting up at oh dark thirty to go shoot a deer (MMMM good eats!)

The bed is not the most comfortable thing, but its better than sitting at watching hockey!

So I was just on you tube looking up clips of Sheldon from the Big Bang theory. Sheldon is hilarious. I want A Sheldon of my own to love and squeeze and put on a shelf and giggle at!

Anyway. In the side bar on you tube is a row of videos they thin you are gonna be interested in based on whatever you are watching at the time. As I watched Sheldon lecture Penny about the merits of buying 30 years of tampons from a bulk store, My sidebar was showing me a bunch of different clips to the big bang theory, annnd one “How to paint on fake abs” video.

WTF?

What does that have to do with anything? I mean, ignore the fact that the video is equal parts amusing for its absurdity and saddening for its very existence, saying that a how to paint on fake abs video is relevant to the big bang theory is like saying to a clerk “I need a lemon” and having them bring you out a copper kitchen sink!!

If you have not watched the TV show the Big Bang Theory, DO SO at your earliest possible convenience!

So. Blake wants to be a scientist when he grows up. Of what, who knows, all he says is that he wants to be a scientist. I personally think he has no clue what the word even means!

I asked him, do you want to study the science of the stars? Biology? Quantum mechanics? Physics, What? And he says “I dunno, I’[m only eight right now, all i want to do is be a scientist”

So yeah. helpful. I want to get him something sciency for Christmas, but cannot decided if i should get him something like a hands on experiment type thing, or a magnifying glass thingy with slides to examine. At this point, I may as well get him obx rentals becuase I have NO idea what to do!

How can i decided what science type thing to get him if he himself doesn’t know the branch he wants to study!!

There was a fire at my husbands work place yesterday. Thats scary man. I have so much I already worry about when it comes to him at work, but in the past I hadn’t really worried about fire. not only can a fire be dangerous (duh) to the employees.it shell on the building! This fire was discovered and controlled quickly, only 15,000 dollars in damages and it was contained to a small area.

A bigger fire has the power to render the building useless and just like that, a thousand men would be out of a job!

I also worry about Micah driving to and from work now that it is winter and the roads have the tendency to ice over. At least I do not have to worry about malignant Mesothelioma as the building was inspected thoroughly for asbestos this summer and none was found

Winter officially started today! And Please, for the love of socks, do not assume that exclamation point means I am excited about it either!

NO more flip flops and girls shorts. No more tee shirts and ice tea, just cold wet icky disgusting snow and wind and freezing temperatures!

It is horrible!

Me and the boys have shoveled the driveway three times today. Three times people. Three cold, windy blowey snow times.

I am ever ever so thankful that we had such an amazing October and the first half of November, but ugg. Winter! The snow should stop by midnight – two hours from now, and thats super because we want to travel to my dads house tomorrow. it’s still gonna be cold though, and that sucks cus Micah wants to go hunting.(white tale)

About the only good thing about winter is now we get Christmas!
