My favorite part of Christmas is finding the perfect gift for my friends and loved ones. Sometimes, the person I want to buy for is very easy to buy for, maybe they are a person who loves collectibles, and the perfect gift would be a set of Personal Creations Elmo Collection!
Other times, the perfect gift is a musical instrument or a set of books the giftee loves.
This year I loved shopping for my in laws the most, I feel that the gift we got them are simply perfect. I cant type down what exactly the gifts are, as you never know who is reading what!
in any case, the secret to knowing what the perfect gift for someone will be, is knowing the person, and knowing them well

Sneaky sneaky. I woke up this morning to the sounds of my husband waking and dressing as quiet as possible. he snuck out the door without breakfast and I head the garage door open. I got myself out of bed and texted him as to where he had gone “To get gas and head to the city” he replied, and would give me no further information.
I could have checked his online bank statement to see where he went but I am sure he went to the city to pick up a Christmas gift for myself, so I won’t do that. I’m kind of excited though, Its very rare that I do not know what I am getting for Christmas, so this is cool
As to what it is, exactly, I know its not gonna be the DSLR I want, that’s too much money, so as long as it isn’t a pair of muck boots, I’m gonna be happy!

I need to get a job. I’m not qualified to do anything except sit on my ass all day, but it is still time.
might need them as well, but we don’t know yet
I guess I will apply at a coffee shop or fast food restaurant, you don’t need any experience to work there. I don’t need to know about hgh releasers or how to quantify a verb if I am simply pouring coffee, right?
Plus, the money will come in handy. My two oldest are going to need braces, and the youngest hasn’t lost enough baby teeth for us to see how his adult teeth will be. Braces are stupid expensive, so it would be nice to have some extra cash to cover that expense.
I don’t even know what minimum wage here is anymore. Heck, I don’t know how to fill out a resume. I wonder if a fast food joint or coffee shop requires a resume? maybe, if I am lucky, they will have applications I can fill out instead!. In anycase, due to personal medical issues, I will not be able to apply anywhere until at least February first, so i have time to research a few things.

It started snowing Friday morning, and at noon that day I caught the tail end of the forecast. At midnight, the snow was to stop. It is now nearly a full 24 hours since the predicted end of snowfall time. Its been 20 hours, to be exact. Guess what?
It’s still snowing.
Heavily.
As in, If I were the type to want to shovel my driveway – and I am not, I would have had to shovel at least 3 times today. Instead, tomorrow morning there will be a massive amount of work to do to get our car out of the driveway to go to dads house to decorate. Inches and inches and inches of disgusting wet, sticky COLD snow!
I wish I could be worrying about looking for an rv insurance quote, or checking out beach balls and towels for a sweet HOT beach vacation, buuuuuuut. But instead I’m seeing white on white, so blinding white that all I can see IS white! I know that we had a better October and first half of November than we usually do, but I gotta be honest. Winter is getting to me. I’m getting tired of the snow, and the ice an the cold, oh, I am tired of the cold!!
Brrrrr!

Oh hey, guess what!??
Last night my mother in law took our boys for the night so Micah and i ran off to the city and finished the very last of the Christmas shopping. Yup, with last night, we are officially done for the year
We only had a few toys left to buy, so we did that, and also picked up all the Christmas candies. (Heloooo Lipofuze!!) We picked up the last of the ingredients I needed for Christmas baking – although it occurs to me right now that we haven’t bought anything or Pumpkin pies!
We will have to fix that asap!!
Tomorrow we are heading to my dads to decorate his tree and are going to take that opportunity to bring down gifts for the extra family members, my nieces and nephew and step brothers and the like.
I won’t be bringing down my step mothers gifts as I get the feeling she is a snooper LOL
