I got a job.

Not for the money (thought I DO love that part) but for me. Because I needed to get out of the house. I was going crazy. And, I was lonely. I was forgetting how to talk to people, how to interact. It sucked ass. SO I got a job. Its just simple Dishwasher Jobs, i do a little veggie chopping, apply a bit of condiments to buns, and wash a tonne of dishes.

I like the people. And the work is easy. I wish I worked a bit more, because its only 2 days a week right now, three hours at a time.

I let my boss know that I am game for more days at work, and she said OK< so I am looking very much forward to seeing the next schedule to see how many days I will get to work!

Friday night, sitting on the couch with the kidlets and the hubby, watching the original karate kid. I’m so amused by the clothes, the hair and the slang, I just love it. I was a baby during the eighties, so all I know of it, really, is what I see on the television.

The cafeteria scene just came on, and trust me, there is no need for appetite suppressants with food like that! Wow! How icky is THAT!

The boys have seen the “new” karate movie, with Jaden Smith, So this is a bit confusing to them, but they seem engrossed non the less. Maybe because my eldest two are in marshal arts right now, I don’t know, but there is something that is keeping their attention!

Hubby has been working at his workplace for ten years this October first. As a reward for ten years service, he was given a catalog and told to pick something out of it. It had things like liquid image impact series goggles, golf clubs, and even a coffee pot, grinder crock pot combo.

Don’t ask me what a crock pot has to do with coffee pot/grinder set, because I have NO idea…

In the end, he picked some weird hunter thingy, a scope or something. I dunno when he will get to use it, because I’m not sure he is going hunting this season.

I think its pretty awesome hubby has worked the same place for ten years, But I think its even cooler that he gets an extra week of paid vacation

So the other day, Myself and the two youngest boys went for a walk. While walking, we approached a compost bin (we were going down back alleys)  I said to my middle con “Hey look, thats the compost tumbler from yesterday that had that HUGE spider on it. Wait. where IS that spider?”

And JUST as I said “where IS that spider” I saw it, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME ME ON THE STREET. I screamed – not a little yelp,but a horror movie scream, and I jumped backwards, completely forgetting I had Samantha on a leash in my hand, I YANKED that poor puppy backwards, off her feet, she was flying!

My son jumped forward and killed the spider, but hot damn that was terrifying. It was SO big, you have NO idea! I was SO scared! Im so so glad the boys were with me, because i was already running in the opposite direction when my littlest boy grabbed me to try and calm me down, telling me it was dead.

Spiders SUCK, Y’all.

So ive made a list, and begun crossing things off it, for Christmas. Now its time to figure out my list. I’m pretty simple to buy for, I don’t want Black diamond earrings, pretty as they are, I just want a new laptop.

That’s it, that’s all. Every girl love jewelry, including me, but this lappy, the one I’m on right now, is mucho sucky. It’s gonna give up the ghost very soon. I worry every day I’m on it, that it will be the last day.

The thing is, I doubt this laptop will make it to christmas. And that’s a real concern. maybe I can get a laptop now? as..as an end of September present? Maybe we can start celebrating the first day of fall? Then I can have both a new laptop AND some bling bling!!
