Yesterday was great! My brother and his girlfriend came into town and we all went to the city for coffee and to watch a movie. During the course of the night, My brothers Girlfriend, J, grew more and more uncomfortable.

My brother leaves on the 30th to go back up north, 14 hours away. its a fly in camp, so he is stuck there for 21 day, no matter what. This baby NEEDS to be born! I was pretty excited, J was pretty uncomfortable and at the end of the night the two of them had talked about stopping in at a small town hospital on the way home to see how she is doing. In the end, they decided to go straight home, but J called me saying that she was going to try to sleep as she thought that this just might be IT!

Of course, this got me so excited that it was 4 AM before I finally fell asleep. I awoke at 10 AM and immediately called them to see what was up. She is still having pains, they are still not regular and she is still freaking pregnant!

I am so excited to see this baby! And of course, it is really important to all of us that she have the baby while my brother is home! On Monday she has an appointment with her obstetrician, we are all crossing our fingers and toes that he OB decided it is OK to induce her. Even if she is induced, My brother will get to spend maybe four days with the new baby before having to go back to work. he will come home to a one month old child.

To me, that is horrible! to miss all those little things, but the two of them got themselves in a bine money wise, and he has to have this job. See, when he worked on the rigs and was making ten grand a month, they spent money like it was water. Unfortunately, instead of spending his paycheck, they spend VIA credit cards. They bought a 40,000 $ truck, and in the past three weeks have spent 10,000 in repairs, AND they are still paying the damn thing off to the tune of 1000 a month. add in rent ( anywhere between 1200-1500 where we are) food, bills – all the credit cards are in collections now, they are in dire straights and really have no choice on the matter.

They simply cannot afford for him to take a 9 to 5 job.

I just wish that the baby would come! As suck as it is for him to miss those three weeks of their child’s life at work, it would be horrifying to miss the actual birth of his baby daughter!

Monday through Friday (today) I have woken up right around 9am each morning. This is VERY good for me! See, during summer – and weekends – and any other day the children do not have school, I sleep until ten. Or eleven, some days? Even noon.

Unfortunately school starts next Wednesday so I have to get my body used to waking up again to make sure the boy’s have clean clothes on and have had their breakfast. I have no idea what I am going to do with the youngest while his brothers are in school. The kids play so well together that I am basically not needed except to attach their feedbags.

But in five more days it will be just me and Logan. Five days a week. And I am worried that I will not be able to keep him entertained. WITHOUT liberal use of television!

I have several things I want Logan to learn before this time next year – becuase next year HE goes to school. So far Logan has shown little to no interest in learning things like his ABC’s or his numbers.

He can somewhat recite the alphabet, but i would like him to be able to do all 26 letters without error. He can count to about 20, but only when HE feels like counting. But the most worrying to me is his absolute refusal to learn how to write his name. At four he is still scribbling wildly. He refuses to color in the lines, or even around the lines. He does not write his name and I have yet to figure out how to get him to hold his pencil right!

Also? Some time this year he needs to learn how to wipe his own butt!

Sunday was pretty eventful! I got a call at noon from my sister in law that it might be time for her baby to arrive and we all raced down to the hospital. While she is in labour, its the very earliest stage you can be in, and still be in labour! Example? It’s Tuesday now and she is still contracting, but no baby!

Monday, when I had planned a whole big post about Sundays events, our power went out. it actually went out just as I turned on the over to cook supper. That sucked. We assumed the power would come right back on, but no, it was off for almost six hours – and the internet was out for even longer!

My Brother is home, he got in late late last night, so we are hoping, really hoping that the baby makes an appearance in the next 12 days. After that, Brother is gone back to work – it is a fly in camp, he absolutely cannot get back home before his work shift (3 weeks) is up.

So yea, send Be Born Baby! Vibes our way PLEASE!

Today the high was 34. thats freaking hot.

We took the boys to a rock climb/mini golf place – which was outdoors. The baby didn’t last till the fourth hole before he was flushed and complaining.

When the tents were up and the table set, it was time for Hubs to go and get some fire wood. normally, we all go as a family to help fill the trunk full of wood, but this trip was different as we had Smokey along with us.

Me, The baby and our middle boy stayed at the campsite with Smokey while hubs and our eldest went together to get wood. After it had been sorted, Hubs picked up the ax and I began moving the children and dog back into a safer spot to watch. Except, Hubs called the eldest over and put the ax in his hands!As you can see, he did not just hand him the ax and tell him to start whacking, and I will admit that i assumed hubs would be staying there, hands over the boys, the whole time.
Except, after showing the boy the proper stance and swing, he walked off.

I took this photo, and then had to stop, I had to watch him with my eyes, not through the view finder of my camera. I was terrified. I kept picturing him in my minds eye missing the log and hitting his shin!
But of course, he did his daddy proud, he took careful aim and slammed that ax down, cleanly splitting the log in two!

On the day before we left to go camping, I started feeling lightheaded and hungry all the time. I decided that the zylene was at fault and chose to not bring them with me to the campsite. I have since started taking them again, and have not had a re occurance of my light headedness.

So far I have not seen a noticeable weight loss, but I am more than willing to give this time to work.

Tonight I will begin drafting posts to try and explain how much fin we had camping. Although you may have read about our trip on BPR, I will be talking about the more intimate parts of our trip on Mommy Madness.

I feel more comfortable here, letting the mommy side of me be seen, and thats a good thing, as that is what I am, A mother!

My sister is on Crack. There is no other explanation.

Here are some facts:

1. My sister has had multiple organ transplants and is on LOTS of drugs to keep her body from rejecting her latest organ.

2. My sister has had a stroke – a very bad one in the past. She was 20. It was unexpected and is still unexplained.

3. My sister has high blood pressure. Blood pressure that the doctors are unable to control with medications, she must monitor her BP six times daily and report to her doctors with the numbers to see if she needs to increase or decrease her daily medications.

4. My sister has a habit of finding losers on the internet to date. Her first internet BF came from over seas. He repeatedly beat and raped her, yet she dated him for three years.

5. She recently – within the last six weeks – dumped her last internet loser after finding out he has been cheating on her.

And the worst part?

6. She found a new internet loser. He lives in Texas. Sometime between January and March, my sister plans on flying down to Texas to meet him.

Do I have to go any further?

On the plus side, here are some of the reasons she may not be able to go.

1. The travel insurance she wants to get, blue cross, will deny her.

2. Due to all the pre-existing medical condition she has, most other travel insurance people will deny her as well.
**she may then, in all her wisdom, decided to go without travel insurance**

3. My sister is on welfare. Don’t judge, its disability welfare, she is honestly unable to work. After rent, she has almost 300 a month – to be spent on bills, food, personal items etc. It is unlikely that she will raise the funds in time.
**unless she decided to do us all proud and get back into dealing drugs**

I am absolutely terrified that she will be able to board the plane. If she does get to Texas, the likely hood that she will phone my father crying in the middle of the night needing money to fly home is 100%.

My dad cannot afford that. Not the money, and not the emotional stress this will cause.

Days like this, I really understand how a person can hate their sibling. For once in her life, I would really love for her to THINK THINGS THROUGH!

So my head is swimming right now. I feel shaky and light headed.

I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO GET SICK!

I’m almost positive this is due to the massive amounts of coffee I have drank since waking up, and the fact that I have not had anything to eat yet today.

Lunch is in half an hour, but I am really considering moving it up a bit and making it now. See, I am baby sitting my 2 year old niece. If it was just my boys, i would feel comfortable laying down until the feeling leaves, but when I have another persons child, I cannot do that. I trust my boys to stay out of trouble, and to wake me if there IS trouble, but adding another child to the mix just adds that little element of surprise!

Yup. Gonna go make lunch now.

This is one of the flowers my neighbor has planted, her backyard is GORGEOUS! Our fence is treated, unstained, unpainted wood, and as a backdrop for this pretty red flower, Its AWESOME!

I want to go back to bed and have a nap.
I want to sit on my butt all day and pretend I am still on vacation.
I want to post a billion pictures of our vacation!

But my wants are being over shadowed by my needs.

Stupid needs.

I Need to have a shower.
I Need to clean the kitchen.
and wash the floors.
and wash some clothes.
I need to get onto the Wii Fit, even though it has been a week since I have been on it, AND its in the high 30′s today.

I’m back from our annual summer vacation, and as much as I would love to tell you alllllll about it, I have some very important news to share!
