Today we  did our regular shopping, we do this every two weeks. it’s not horribly fun, as we shop for essentials, you know, like food.

Here are five things I coveted while shopping:

1. The high def TV Wal*Mart had on sale for just under 700$

2. The winning lotto ticket the man in front of us in the line had. I could do a lot with 1200$

3. Purple nail polish. kit was shiny and shimmery and I wanted it!

4. The pretty silver Nikon camera in the locked down display case. Did you know Nikon makes binoculars too? They do : Nikon binoculars

5. The latest edition of Rock Band – I am actually buying that for hubs for Christmas, so it is just a matter of waiting a few more months. Sigh.

What do you covet?

Hey look! Yet another blog post where I complain about something utterly insignificant during a time in which the entire world is worried about failing economy, record high unemployment numbers and terrorists trying to steal your carrots! Ok. I made that last bit up, but I am sure the terrorists Would steal your carrots if it ever occurred to them to do so!

SO THERE!

You see, poor wittle me has an ingrown toenail. And if that wasn’t bad enough, I keep stubbing that particular toe on everything from the dog to the TV stand. And you know what? IT HURTS AND I WANT MY MOMMY! Sure, you’re thinking, She is complaining about an ingrown toe nail? Not even something serious like Plantar Fasciitis (for those of you who are not as intimately acquainted with Doctor Google as I am, Plantar Fasciitis is a painful foot condition in the heel and arch area.)

And YES, I AM complaining about my toe, you know why? CUS IT HURTS. See, I’ve had ingrown toe nails – on my big toe. I’m not even sure if you can get them on other toes. *Note to self:  Consult Dr. Google later on ingrown toenails* AHNYway. I’ve had ITN since I was pretty young. I can remember being terrified because one of my doctors suggested the nail be RIPPED off! I uhm, might have protested that by screaming and throwing myself dramatically to the ground. But, hey, it worked! the toenail stayed.

But. So did the annoyingly painful ingrowns.

I’m NOT saying I want my poor innocent, polished in Shimmering Cherry Red, nail to be removed, but I sure would like the pain to stop.

The comment section is down there. I’ve had great results with home remedys before, are there any for ITN? SHARE! (please!)

You know how something tastes So good that you eat way too much of it?

Yeah. that’s me right now. This evening we loaded up the car and headed to Subway for dinner. I had the Chicken Terriaki(sp?) sub and ordered a foot long instead of my usual six inch. My reasoning was that I would be able to have the other half for lunch the next day.

Except it was sitting there taunting me! Calling my name. I gave into temptation and ate it. And now I feel ill.

(except the part of me that is my nummy flavored mouth! Oh man, I can still taste it!)

I feel so bloated, and oddly, tired. I need a fat burner or something. Or to go on a brisk walk (except I hate walks) (how many times have I used Except in this post now?)

What do You do when you’ve eaten too much? How do you get the too full feeling to go away?

I’m totally and absolutely jealous – and for no real reason. I mean. I DRIVE a car to the school.

You see, today, and for the rest of the week I will be heading to the school to pick up the boys. L needs to be shown with an adult present a few times how to get home before I entrust him to his nine year old brother. (we live two blocks away from the school). But this afternoon when I got to the school, in my CAR, I was instantly jealous of the little pack of moms standing by the front doors. They had the COOLEST strollers.

My favorite on, cus yeah, I was staring at them like a man does with a nice car, was a Two Seat Indie Twin All Terrain strollers.

It looked exactly like this, only blue. And it had babies in it.

I remember when P was in kindergarten,I would have the baby – he was just a few months old – in the stupid umbrella stroller that was too low – and I am short – so it hurt my back. B was two years old and hated the walk, so I always ended up hiking him on my hip as I struggled to push the baby in the stroller – and I had to do it two times a day, there and back. Don’t even get me started on how hard it was trying to get those stupid wheels through the snow!

I Wish I had All Terrain wheels back THEN!

I woke up at 6:30 with hubs this morning, waited till seven thirty to get the boys up, got them fed, dressed, their bags packed and sent them to school at eight thirty.

Then I turned cartoons on the TV in my room and went back to sleep while L watched TV. Just like normal, I woke up with a raging headache. Every single time I nap I get rewarded with a headache. Why is that?

I am going to go hop in the shower and see if that will help my poor pounding head.

EDIT: Nope. The shower did not work. Oh well, at least I am clean! I have decided to brew a pot of coffee, since I have had none yet today die to the whole sleep in issue, maybe my headache is caffeine related! if the coffee does not work, then I will have to resort to Advil. I use so much of that crap that its getting to the point that I will try anything to prevent taking more!
