I cannot get my stupid wordpress to update! I tried and tried and tried and it just keeps stopping and telling me to STFU and go away. It’s SUPER annoying. And my husband whining about his back hurting is not helping. He either needs to get off his butt and see a back cracker or look into, I dunno, some kinda new back surgery or something.

Sheesh!

Dont mind me. I”m just ticked off that I had to work today. I HATE working a weekend, and told my boss that I could NEVER work weekends, but he was in a real jam so I agreed to come in, to help him out. It sucked ass, really it did. And worse, I have to be BACK to work at NINE AM. As in the MORNING! for a staff meeting and kitchen clean up. It is gonna suck SO BAD. SO BAD.

The staff meeting is really just a meeting for our boss to yell at us. YAY! Not. Le Sigh.

Give me ANY excuse that I can use to not go, and I swear to SOCK I will use it.

With the wind chill today, it was -20, but even with the snap in the air, I am happy to say that spring is on the way. I bought one of those leather repair kits so that I can get my muckluks into proper condition to store all summer, I want them on their best behaviour next winter, because you can bet your ass it will be a long time before we get anohter winter this awesome!

I also want to pick up a copy of the farmers almanac. I saw a blurb online last summer saying that this winter was going to be mild, but ignored it, and listened to the weather men who were predicting a long COLD winter. The almanac is apparently way more on the spot than the weather men ever are!

Im sleepy right now, but forcing myself to stay up, i have to get to bed at a proper time tonight becuase I work tomorrow, so a nap is out of the question!!

The boys, like their momma, love sharks. They love reading and watching anything about sharks, and I encourage it. |Recently, they have been talking about and researching Megladons, and seeing as I support this type of thing, I decided to do a bit of my own research.

now, I know that most girls spend time searching online for deals on womens lingerie and purses or shoes or something, but me? I search for things like Megladon teeth – in my budget!

And I did it. A four and a quarter inch long tooth, great serrations, great colouring, authentic megladon tooth has been ordered online and will be heading our way ASAP thanks to the USPS!

jealous? I thought you would be! I will be sure to take photos when it arrives!!

When I wake up January will be done and gone and February will be here! its the shortest month and right after it is March! This means that in no time flat I will be listening to people complaining about having to cut the grass, putting up the removable pool fence and planting gardens!

NOw, I hate mosquitoes as much as the next person and heaven help me in the same town as a spider, but I love me some spring and summer! And this summer is going to be the greatest yet because we have AC!!!

This evening I hit up the local dollar store because I lost my nail file and desperately needed to file a nail. While I was there, I picked up a squeaky pig toy for our dogs. Immediately when I got him, our big dog, Smokey claimed the pig. In fact, right now she is cuddled up with it, sleeping, while the little pup sits, staring and occasionally growling at her.

Its funny,. but at the same time, Super annoying.

I was talking about summer weddings and wedding photographer philadelphia on Where Was I earlier today, and have decided that i need every single winter to be like the one we are having this year. I went to the store tonight in a thin wool coat, no hat, no mittens. Last year, leaving the house without hat, mittens, scarf and parka between November and march was stupidity personified, but its only been in the last three weeks that I have traded in my bunny hug for an actual coat!

This is awesome

Christmas is only 11 months away.

stop laughing, I am SERIOUS!

I am so damn sick and tired of people complaining in october, november and then December that they either have SO MUCH TO DO< OR have no money to buy gifts, so they put it on credit. You people drive me nuts! Christmas starts the day after Christmas ends.  All year long you should be looing for little things, deals you cant pass up, like this monogrammed purse mirror.

Pick a spot in the house that is easily defensible, like a lockable closet or hidden shelf, and start storing gifts. Make sure everything is stored in the same place and keep a list of who you want to buy for, and any ideas you have throughout the year, in your purse or wallet.

If you spread your holiday shopping out throughout the year you will be surprised how little stress you will have come the Christmas season! Try it!

My cousin and her parents and my other aunt as well are all going to disney after Christmas. They are booking rental houses, as they are much better than hotels, and plan to stay for 2 weeks.

I am insanely jealous, LOL.

I went to the California disney in grade 12 and it was awesome and then some, so I know she will hav e a great time, I just wish I had known about the trip sooner so I could have lost weight and fit in her suitcase!

Oh well. Eventually I will get out that way again.

In other news, we are one hundred percent done out Christmas shopping, Now I need to clean house, bake two more pies and wrap presents! How about you?

Last night we hit the stores and bought a kazzillion more things for Christmas. I better buy gold coins at Golden Eagle and win big cus we broke the bank lol.

Actually, I was surprised at the prices this year, they seemed reasonable. I bought an over flowing cart full of things – including several video games and spent under 250$, I was expecting to spend more!

Not that I am complaining, Because I am not, hahaha!

We have a few more things to pick up, be we have to wait on them out of nessecity, I am getting a new laptop, and hubbys gift is pretty pricey too, so we need to wait until some USD funds clear to CAD funds before we can purchase them, as I refuse to buy christmas on credit cards!

I started the Game of Thrones series a few weeks ago, and when I finished book four (I bought 1-4 as a box set) I realized there was a book five (fricken annoying) so I hopped online and ordered Dance of dragons and waited very impatiently for it to get here.

But holy hell, is it ever heavy. Im actually tempted to take it to work and put it on the scale and see just how heavy it is! Its too big to take in hte bath with me, and its very uncomfortable to read in bed, basically, I bring out my pillow and prop it on my lap with the pillow to read it, and thats not the most comfy position, you know!

it might be time for me to do some ereader comparison checking. Last monday at karate there was a mom there waiting for her child, reading a book on her ereader, and i was rather jealous because my book is simply too big to comfortably take anywhere!

I don’t know how true to form this is, but I just checked an online book store and they said that the book is 1.5KG, or 3.3 pounds. Wow!

Our dog Smokey recently had her annual check up and got some disturbing news. it seems that Little miss Smokey is a fatty! Or, is on the road to becoming one. We free feed the dogs, so its gonna be a challenge to get her to eat less, and she burns a lot of calories being her very energetic self.

Are there weight loss pills that work for dogs, or just weight loss foods?

LOL.

I think this entire thing is funny because smokey is lean, and fit. I honestly think the vet was just trying to make money selling us the 40 dollar five pound bag of diet food. I honestly think smokey does not need to be on a diet. And I am really considering taking her to the vet who did the cleaning on Samantha’s teeth next year when it’s time for her shots and exam.
